SEO is not just set it and forget it
With organic search engine optimization it’s NOT just about set it and forget it ...why? Because search engines are constantly rearranging the order of your web site rankings and your competitor search engine rankings.
So why can’t you just leave it alone? Because Google, for instance, is always looking for web sites with new, fresh keyword rich content and the more newer keyword rich content your web site has the more relevant your web site appears to Google thus the higher your web site will rank. Since rankings of web sites change all the time, its important to always look new and vibrant to search engines! If you just set it and forget it, then your competition will add new fresh keyword rich content to their web site and move up in the rankings and leave you in the dust!
When you first optimize and launch your web site, it may have fantastic rankings for a few months, but then you may notice that your web site’s rankings slowly start to fall, and fall, lower and lower, BUT if you add keyword rich content as often as possible then you can not only maintain but boost your rankings!
